SOCIAL MEDIA RESOURCES YOU CAN USE

KNOW WHERE YOUR BOOKMARK BUTTON IS? GOOD! LET'S PUT IT TO USE : )

We know our iMEDIA-ers. You folks are busy people and realistically, don't have time to spend 24/7 staying up-to-date with the world of social media. In fact, that's why you attend iMEDIA, isn't it? Once a year, you come hang out with us for a weekend and we get you up-to-date.

Along with some of our iMEDIA speakers, we compiled a list of blogs and resources that we recommend adding to your reading list to help you stay in the loop with what's going on in the digital world. Here they are!

SPROUT INSIGHTS

If you've never visited the Sprout Insights blog, just do it. They are constantly adding fresh content and the best part about it... it's relevant and their resources are very practical. Sounds like our kind of resource ; )

GARY VAYNERCHUCK

If you like a no-fluff, no BS approach to business and online marketing (which we know you do!) ADD THIS TO YOUR READING LIST NOW! Gary Vee is our kind of guy. He doesn't just talk the talk, but this guy speaks from first-hand experience and proven success in the social media space. If reading isn't your thing, Gary also has a video series, the #AskGaryVeeShow which is without question one of the best business resources on the internet. PS: He's talking a lot about Snapchat these days so if you're looking to up your Snapchat game, be sure to check him out!

LINDA HOANG'S SOCIAL MEDIA NOTES

If you find yourself short on time during the week, be sure to visit Linda's blog to get up to speed! Linda's Social Media Notes recap some of the most important (and interesting!) social media headlines from the week in a quick-read format. You can get an over-arching view of what happened in the world of social (with Linda's witty and insightful comments!) in 5 minutes or less.

INC.

Inc. is that space on the internet where you go to "get lost." The content on Inc. varies but it seems that after reading one article, there are always 4 more that you just have to read before leaving the site. We like it for the versatility in content - it's a great one-stop shop for business content.

SOCIAL TIMES

SocialTimes is a piece of the Adweek pie so you know the content is great. SocialTimes is on our reading list because of the simplicity of their navigation. They categorize their content into 5 categories: Facebook, Twitter, Internet, Infographics, and Gaming. With SocialTimes, you always know what you're going to get. A nice treat in a world with so much noise.
