Welcome back (and get the latest scoop on #iMEDIA17)

The leaves are changing colours, the air is getting cooler and that can only mean one thing… it’s PSL season! Oh, right… in addition to PSL season, it’s also time to start talking about iMEDIA! 😉

We are thrilled to be launching our new website this week and are ever more excited to start sharing the #iMEDIA17 love with you all. We have some exciting new tricks up our sleeves for our sixth annual conference, and we cannot wait to share them with you.

Following up last year’s sold out event, we can guarantee you one thing and one thing only: we are going to do our damndest to give you the best iMEDIA conference ever at the 2017 event. Considering we’re a pretty competitive group so you can bet on this being a reality.

Here are some things that you need to know:

 
  • Mark you calendars! March 10 & 11th, 2017 is your iMEDIA weekend!
  • #iMEDIA17 will officially be expanding to a full 2-day event! As a first for the iMEDIA Social Media Conference, we will be offering sessions on both the Friday and Saturday! Which leads us to…
  • Get the deepest of dives with an iMEDIA Master Class! The sessions hosted at #iMEDIA17 on Friday will be Master Classes. These Master Classes will be 3 to 6 hour sessions with industry pros. These sessions will seat no more than 20 people, will still focus on our no-fluff, no BS approach, but will give you the opportunity to really get the 360 on a certain topic through a very hands-on session. These sessions will be available exclusively to iMEDIA conference attendees and will be available a-la-carte with your iMEDIA ticket.

  • We’re keeping our Friday Night Keynote! You liked this, so we figured it was the right move. ☺️
  • We’re going to give you a little extra breathing room on Saturday. One of the biggest pieces of feedback that we receive from our iMEDIA attendees is that you guys LOVE how much content you get during the conference, but by the end of the day, you’re one sleepy human. So, we’re going to adjust our conference schedule accordingly to give you all a little extra time in each of your sessions and a little more time in between sessions so you can move around the venue with that little extra hop in your step.

  • We’re finally on Facebook! We know, we know… late to the party, right? This has actually been a strategic decision on our part. Up until last year, we didn’t see any engagement with iMEDIA on Facebook. It was like a ghost town over there. Being people who like to take our own advice (don’t go where your people aren’t!) we decided to focus our attention on Twitter, but as our audience evolves, so do we so… Like us, won’t you?
  • We are Snapping it up! That’s right. You can now get in on all of the iMEDIA behind-the-scenes action through our Snapchat account. We might also get a little help from some of our industry friends with this one… Stay tuned (and add us!)
